Ruby Reef Hydroplex is a powerful, broad-spectrum disinfectant and antimicrobial dip designed to treat new arrivals, including fish, corals, and invertebrates, before introducing them into your aquarium. Safe for both freshwater and saltwater use, Hydroplex helps neutralise harmful bacteria, protozoans, fungi, and parasites during the acclimation process—providing a critical line of defence for maintaining a healthy, disease-free tank.

Application Methods:

1. Dip Treatment for New Arrivals (Freshwater & Saltwater):

Use during acclimation before adding livestock to your system.

  • Step 1: Oxygenate and match the bag water to tank parameters.

  • Step 2: After full acclimation, transfer livestock and bag water into a clean, pre-measured container. Add tank water if needed.

  • Step 3: Add 30 ml of Hydroplex per 1 litre of water in the container.

  • Step 4: Keep fish, corals (must be closed), or invertebrates in the solution for 10 minutes.

  • Step 5: Transfer livestock to the display tank or quarantine tank.

  • Note: If any fish show signs of stress during the dip, remove them immediately.

2. Use in Quarantine or Hospital Tanks (Freshwater or Saltwater):

  • Add 30 ml of Hydroplex per 10 litres of water.

  • Do not use carbon or chemical filtration during treatment.

  • Repeat dosing after 24 hours and every 48 hours thereafter for up to 7 days.

  • Monitor fish for signs of stress and maintain stable water parameters.

Important Notes:

  • Do NOT use Hydroplex directly in display tanks.

  • Suitable for use with fish, corals (when closed), and invertebrates.

  • Shake well before use.

  • Store in a cool, dry place.

  • Keep out of reach of children.

  • For aquarium use only.
