Description:
Kick-Ich PRO by Ruby Reef is a professional-strength, reef-safe treatment specifically formulated to eliminate cryptocaryon irritans—commonly known as marine ich or white spot disease. It is designed for use directly in the display aquarium, making it ideal for treating community reef tanks without harming corals, invertebrates, or beneficial bacteria.

Key Features:

  • Reef-Safe Formula: Does not affect corals, anemones, crustaceans, or nitrifying bacteria—safe for use in reef and fish-only systems.

  • Effective Against Ich: Targets all life stages of marine ich (cryptocaryon irritans), including free-swimming stages in the water column.

  • Copper-Free: Contains no heavy metals or antibiotics, making it suitable for long-term use in sensitive reef environments.

  • Display Tank Use: No need to move fish to a quarantine system—treats ich directly in the main tank.

  • Works in Conjunction: Can be used alongside Ruby Reef Rally PRO for a more comprehensive approach to external parasites and infections.

Usage Instructions:

  • Dose 60ml per 120litres of aquarium water daily.

  • Treat for a minimum of 2 weeks (longer for heavily infected systems).

  • Maintain stable temperature, pH, and salinity throughout the treatment period.

  • Turn off UV steriliser and ozone equipment during treatment.

  • Protein skimmers can remain on. Do not use activated carbon or other chemical filtration during the course.

Treatment Duration:

  • 14 days minimum. In persistent or severe cases, treatment may continue for up to 4 weeks.

  • Continue dosing until all signs of infection have disappeared and no new spots are observed.
