Aquaforest Ca Plus is a highly concentrated solution designed to elevate calcium levels in marine aquariums. Calcium is essential for coral growth, and deficiencies can lead to inhibited development or cessation of growth. Ca Plus supports calcification, promoting healthy coral growth. For optimal effectiveness, it's recommended to maintain appropriate carbonate hardness (KH) levels using products like KH Plus or KH Buffer.
Dosage:
- 10 ml of Ca Plus increases calcium levels by 20 mg/l (ppm) in 100 liters (27 US gallons) of water.
- The maximum safe daily dose is 10 ml per 100 liters. If a higher dose is needed, distribute it over several days.
- The recommended calcium level in reef aquariums is between 380 – 460 mg/l (ppm).
- It's advisable to adjust dosing based on the specific needs of your aquarium.
